Gade Race Engines is a business owned and operated by Brian Gade in Clarence, IA. It is a hobby of Brian's that is built off of a bigger business, Gade Motor Company, which is primarily a transmission service shop. Brian first started building his own racing engines in the mid-1980's for his own race team. Over the years, he has experimented with many different combinations and has proved himself with countless wins in almost every division.
Due to a greater demand for GRE's, Brian has built onto his original shop making a room specifically for building engines, and also adding to his collection of various machines, which are all designed for precision engine building. Brian's primary goal, with the help from his top-notch machinest Dave Berry, is to find new ways to maximize power and durability in all racing engines, while keeping them affordable for the average racer. Even though Brian is well-known for his vast knowledge of Ford racing engines, he builds several fast and very competitive Chevy engines as well. Success over the last two decades has kept this business thriving, and it will continue to thrive for years to come!
